doing alittle more gardening....

We may have some cold nights here in the Ozarks....guess what I have been doing?

That`s right gardening....cleaning out areas of the garden and expanding....
yes, I take many breaks during it...

I cleaned out this bed...at least the back of it...
Removed the sunflower stalks

Tomato vines, canna stalks, sunflower stalks...
Ready to be composted in this area of the garden

Even though Frost has hit here a few nights the mums are still putting on a color show

Decided to have part of this area open, so it would be easier to pick the blackberries..

Left me with a lot of pieces of lattice that I took apart....what to do with them....
maybe plant markers?

Just a look at some beginning of some new beds...
in front of the blackberry rows.

My hubby stated he wanted to build a bed that starts off as 8 x 8, then 4 x4 bed then a 2 x 2 bed in the middle......so will be working on laying the newspaper down for this bed and the other beds....

Future Angel garden area...going to try and just plant things that I think would be in an angel garden...
Roses a must....
angel named irises
angel named daylilies
maybe a rose of Sharon or two and lilac's

I know you cant see very well in the picture , but I planted a row of blackberries and irises in between....

enjoy!
