Day 151...overcast today...

This morning it is cloudy and over casted, cool at least this morning it is cool...will have to wait until this afternoon,..it might warm up a tad...

one of the unnamed rose, actually it does have a name, but I forgot what it was...

Snowfire tea rose
last year this rose had more white, maybe it will get more white as the spring summer goes on

sugar snap peas
these didn't make it to the house

one of the beds I am working on now..a white/black bed.
so far it has a deep purple iris, a white iris, a white rose of Sharon,
ice carnival daylily( a pale yellow, but ice is white right), white peonies I
transferred to this bed yesterday...I also divide it as well....
I also planted a eggplant in this bed and some cantaloupe seeds( I know not white, but I wanted more cantaloupe and this space is available)

John F. Kennedy Tea rose
looks like a pale yellow
I was wanting a white rose for this bed..
but I am not moving this rose...I like it....
                                                perfect for the angel garden

I replanted some small iris rhizones in this bed
these were along side of the peony I transferred yesterday
so I replanted them as well
This bed is in the angel garden, lower area

                                                 two volunteer tomatoes

this is one of the last iris blooms
it is suppose to be Cherub`s Smile
pink in color

the ninebark in bloom

one of my piñata climbing rose...
bouquet of them wrapping around the pole

with this cool morning and no rain ..I managed to get some areas weeded that needed it badly...
I weeded the island bed, pulled some wild blackberry briers( next time I should plant some of them in a pot and see if they do good), the angel garden for the most part, the beds in blackberry fields, the beds around strawberry fields...then I came inside to make pancakes - a brunch for the girls

now I think I will go and cross stitch awhile
So
I hope you all
ENJOY!

Day 150...lots of rain last night....

we had thunderstorms last night and we got a lot of rain....this morning it is misty rain ...but still managed to get some pics before the camera screen said I had no more memory...and then my batteries went dead on the camera.....so here are the limited number of pics for today....

as you can see some of the pots are very well water logged this morning
these are Rose of Sharon seedlings

we got wind last night as well, at least some wind
as you can tell by the broccoli

a late bloom from a blackberry
I planted this one last year
this blackberry cane didn't produce last year, but will produce this year

I have some tomatoes on the vine

After I took this pic of the snowfire rose, that is when the camera went phooey...no more memory I was getting ready to take a pic of the Maid of honor climbing rose and take a few more pics around the garden then one of the slab on our road...mind you I might not had been able to walk back of the hill...but I still would have taken a pic of it....maybe I would have drove the car down to it and then drive back.....

I guess that is all for now
                                                         so
                                                  I hope you all
                                                          ENJOY!

Day 148....overcast today...

We have overcast skies today and we have a chance for storms later in the day....
According to the radar some are nearby so hopefully I can get this post done before they get here

now lets take a walk thru the gardens

I planted these pepper plants yesterday in Three sisters bed....I was going to plant a few tomatoes here as well, but while I was digging the hole for a tomato plant I found a corn seed with roots on it...I had figured the chickens that free range had scratched up the corn and ate it, I guess not needless to say the tomatoes plants will be planted elsewhere, maybe in a pot....

A look at some pepper plants I have planted in little beds along side of three sisters bed
their is also a tomato plant planted in the middle...I have so many tomato and pepper plants

my tomato plants I plant in a pot

one of the peach trees I planted this year...
this tree lost some of its leaves.....
please don't look at the weeds....

the euonymus , in which I think this is the japonicas one

soon will have a bloom

I got a wee little tomato on the yellow ones

sunflowers

soon will find out if these are yellow hollyhocks

                                                      grapes

volunteer marigolds

first prize tea rose

the foxglove is going to seed, just have to wait until the seed heads dry up some more

pristine tea rose
I transplanted this here since it was doing very good in another spot, not enough sun

this is John F. Kennedy tea rose, suppose to be white...we will see
first year for this rose

pink hollyhock

well I am going to get off of here so I can go cross stitch some more

set my hardy pink hibiscus out to get ready to transplant here

                                                   cleaned this bed this morning
I am thinking about planting a couple of the canna
in  a pot instead of having them in the ground here....we keep stepping on two of them, these are the black leafed ones

well that is enough for now, I am going to go and do some cross-stitch

                                                                  so
