Day 134...some showers this morning...

I pulled some weeds today and transplanted a plant( astilbe) and dug up a few...and transplanted a few of them....in between the rain showers...very cool outside this morning...

views of the angel island garden before I planted the astilbe ...in which I was just going outside in between the showers to take my pics of the day..but then decided to transplant a few things...

so here are the rest of the pic I took before I transplanted

                                                     some more iris pics

I have some watermelon sprouting up

my ninebark is blooming even though it don't have all of its leaves on

Denver`s Dream miniature rose

piñata climbing rose

the deep red peony getting ready to bloom

the pink peony
I have be waiting for these to bloom it seems like these should have bloomed already , but I guess the cool weather we have been having kinda put a damper on them for now

as you can see the rain, heavy at time has did a number on some of my irises

my pink peace tea rose

the asitlbe in in its place
there is another one on the other side ...

I need to find another hosta to put on the right side..
I have read that if hosta are to be a lot sun you need one with a lot more white on them...so I am looking for similar to that...

a view of the island bed after I planted the astilbe...there...it was sprinkling in these pics...
I am trying to decide what kind of bedding plants I can put around the sides of this island bed... would like something not very tall but in the colors of red, white, purple. Maybe green ....since that is the color so far in this bed....it needs something to pop with color until these plants that planted here really develop more...don't know....would like to have perennials for the bedding plants so I wont have to plant them every year

I transplanted a couple of blackberry briers into blackberry lane and 1 iris now I have a full row of blackberry briers...in blackberry lane...

I also dug up some more irises , don't know where I will put them at...my goal for the irises is to get all named varieties...eventually, but I see a iris even though I don't know the name of it and I want one of that color......
I could put unnamed varieites in a certain place in the garden...maybe along the fence ...
starting where three sisters is at...in which my corn I planted is not coming up will need to replant it and then keep the chickens that I have free ranging out of it...

well I think I will go and plant some corn again...
so
I hope you all
ENJOY!
