day 211...behind again...

yesterday was a very busy day....so I missed doing my post yesterday...so here it is

Day 210..chance for showers...

Chance for shower or rather storms this afternoon..cool front is going to be moving in sometime this afternoon....looking forward to the cooler weather....

 

my first prize rose bush

I think it has rose rosette disease

it looks like it has the witches brooms on some its stems..

 

 

so I trimmed it up hoping to save it...

I am going to try and find some kind of chemical to spray on it

I don't like to use chemicals in my garden, for one thing I cant afford it and for another I don't want to kill the beneficial insects...

yes, another heat advisory today in the Ozarks.....

day 208...another hot one...

That's summer is here ....very warm outside  so only able to go into the garden during early morning or in the evening....the weeds seem to love this heat...they are sprouting up everywhere....

day 207...another hot one...

Another hot day today...I worked out in the garden a little before the heat got too much and my back couldn't take it anymore......I was still sweating at 9 am in the morning....

wanting these peppers to turn red so when I harvest them I can harvest the seeds as well

they are yellow banana peppers

 

my fruits of my labor in the garden...

lemon cukes, a few tomatoes, green beans

 

I decided to put them in a box this morning...now I need to figure out what to do with them

our family is sad today we lost our beloved Bandit....
