I seen my first hummer of the season on April 29,2018...I marched myself in the house and then cleaned the hummingbird feeders .I made my sugar water ,then put the feeders up....
To make homemade humming bird food. take 1/4 cup of sugar to 1 cup of warm water....

I have since seen orioles as well at both of my feeders....
in this vlog I do use 4 cups of warm water and 1 cup of sugar plus alittle food coloring in which I only put the food coloring in the first time...
I know I needed to clean my feeders better, they have been exposed to the elements of nature....so that's why they looked like they do....
