Trying a different way of making a riased bed

I have watched Back to Eden garden....http://www.backtoedenfilm.com/
I decided to try my hand at it....

 

First I laid some paper feed sacks down

 

Then started putting the manure on the feed sacks

                       Just what the bed looks like after some manure on the feed sacks

       This is my pile of mulch  A local tree trimming service was in the area a couple of years ago and I asked for the mulch....I have been using it for two years in my garden....

 

This is how I put everything on my garden, be it manure or mulch, by bucket

 

This bed still needs some more mulch to it, but you get the idea
