Making new labels

Since my garden plant labels have faded,
project from last year...pieces of old lattice, painted ,then painted name of plant on the lattice strip.

the paint has faded, a ugly site ...I watched a video on YouTube about turning

                                            a ordinary milk jug into plant labels
                                           I thought I would try and see if the markings faded
                                          and if they uphold to Ozarks weather

                                           I don't know if you can tell from the pic
                                         but I cut up one milk jug into small pieces

 

got out my plant book ( where everything is labeled/plant map)

and started writing on the plastic cut from the milk jug

 

 

put packing tape across the front

                                                    put packing tape across the back
                                                   using bamboo skewers for the stake

 

one done

 

                                                     Here is one bed completed for now
