This is one of my original veggie beds. Last year I tried the square foot gardening thing, but it really didn't work for me in this bed...don't know what I did wrong. The green onions, green peppers, squash did great but not the watermelon that I planted after the I pulled all of the green onions...
So this year I will probably be going back to my original design or planting as you will, with some minor differences....
This is how I originally planted this bed. I got this map in a book, I really don't remember what book I got it from..
this worked excellent for me in this bed.
This bed is 4 x 8...
I didn't plant the leeks and the kale, but other then that this is how I planted it
Some gnomes will be moved to the garden, right now they are in a bed in the yard
Finally got a tub in the garden
a baby tub, but its still a tub right?
wanting to plant some kind of white, blue flowering ground cover and then place a rubber ducky in it.
It is suppose to in the 50s today and tomorrow...
with that being said , I will be working outside today in the garden
Will be working on one of the above areas pictures, either in the upper portion of the Angel Garden or by the road, getting rid of the honeysuckle vines......And brush along there...I want to plant some of my unnamed varieties of irises and other flowers along there at least to the property line...
