Day 120....just a few today...

I just took a few pictures today...Today the sun is shining bright and some wind, not much...
I worked in the garden some....after setting out the plants inside to start harden them off....I will try and plant them tomorrow or this weekend

I planted two praying hands hosta

I ordered them and got them yesterday...

don't know if I will order from the same place again or not...

 

 

My Blue Angel hosta is planted in its spot....

 

I also planted two peonies ( Kansas) in pots until I can get the area /bed in which I want to plant them in ready for them.

I also planted the free plant ( Daylily called storm warning) in a pot as well until I can get /decide what bed or get the bed ready for it as well....

Day 119.......busy day today...

I had a very busy day today, first I got my hair done then was home for about a hour and then went to say my goodbyes to a Aunt...she will be greatly missed...

Here are my pic for the day

on the way to town I seen a plant sale sign so I opt to stop on the way back home....The lady usually has a plant sale once a year...these jumped into my car...a golden raspberry bush, a Blackberry lily, and a mother of thousands plant....I seen something else I might just have to back to the sale to see what else can jump into my car

Just a few pics of some irises I have blooming right now....These are for my Aunt Dee.....I will miss her ...best lemon meringue pie and best seamstress.

Day 118....windy today,cloudy...

It is overcast today and windy and its cold wind, but still managed to get out in the garden to work some....I planted a tiger lily, sunflower seeds and moved some things around that were in pots already to sell

 A neighbor gave me this heart shaped leaf of a cactus, I believe it is a prickly pear cactus...they found it mushroom hunting...

Don't know if you can tell it but the cuttings I took last year from a double pink Rose of Sharon ...they have some green on them....

I was beginning to wonder about them...

I know it will be a while before they bloom

                                       Still don't know what kind of tree/shrub this is

 

 

My yellow hollyhocks they should bloom this year...will find out for sure if they are yellow this year

Since I got it them at Wal-mart...A neighbor who has daylily don't trust Wal-Mart on their color of the plants they sell...so we shall see if these are indeed yellow...

 

I also replanted some tomato plants this morning and planted more rose of Sharon starts

 

Well I need to go fix Camo girl something to eat...

Day 117...still cool today...

That is right still cool today...its only suppose to get in the 60s again today...and cloudy on top of that...I want sunshine....my garden wants sunshine

                           These are suppose to be brandywine tomato's....I really don't think they are

Day 116...a little cool today...

It is a little cool this morning on the farm..so off to work in the garden this am....

                                           Some Beefsteak tomato plants..

This iris bloomed a deep red last year...

 

 

Here is what it look like last year

 

                                       Weeded in this area of the garden today...strawberry fields

                                          Found a few Rose of Sharon seedlings...these will be purple
                                  I will let them grow a little bit more then I will be potting them up

 

Since I was working in the Strawberry fields

I dug up the tulips and a few Easter Lillies to be planted later in the year

somewhere else

 

I moved this rose bush...

 

 

I am hoping it does better in full sun then it was doing... I know it still has some green on it...but it has not leaves...so maybe it will soon get leaves in this spot

I guess I didn't get all of it...this is the one I dug up last year...

 

 

This is where I put it at for now...hopefully it will do good...I might leave it here ...but this is a shady spot, it get morning sun and that is about it...
