Day 114...some rain today...

This morning we woke up to rain, so really no gardening today, unless we want to play in the mud...also expecting storms later today...possible storms that is...

Sad to say that I lost my Pink Lemonade blueberry plant that I got from Lowes and I also lost the golden raspberry plant as well, I saved my receipt and took both back...this morning..

 

I picked up this coral bell today...

this is where it will be planted beside the Hosta Anne in the upper portion of the angel garden

 

 

I dug up a start of mint and planted it in my toilet bowl...I planted a mum there last year and it didn't come back up...I guess the area where I have the toilet , in full sun the mum didn't like that area...so mint will be planted there ...I might add a marigold there as well

 

I have hostas , 2 different ones sprouting up here...hmm, I only planted one here last year, the variegated one..after they get alittle bigger I might have to move one of them elsewhere, I will wait and see.

 

I picked up this Asiatic lily as well as Lowes today

it was on clearance.

don't look at the weeds, I haven't had a chance to weed here with all the rain and being busy from getting ready for girly girl to graduate high school

I place it upside down in the cooler planter that I have

some of my irises, all of bloomed purple so far this year....

I know I have more then just purple

 

I picked up this rose bush to replace the medallion rose that I lost over the winter, I will be saving the receipt so if I loose a rose again I have them replace it or get another one...this one I picked up at Walmart  its called Gold Medal a Grandiflora rose...

I also picked up another golden showers climbing rose bush to replace the one I lost over the winter...all of the plants that I picked up today have been planted...

Walmart has a 1 year guarantee on their plants with receipt ,

From now on I will be saving all of my receipts when I get a perennial plant...I wished I had saved the receipt from the double pink hollyhock as they are still not sprouting up...even though they are planted and have been watching them....

the black hollyhocks are sprouting up...the astilbe that I planted is sprouting up...still waiting on the hosta that I got from Wal-mart to sprout up.
