Before the rain started we did manage to go to a local swap meet this morning...
The sunset this morning...I thought it so needed a picture taken of it....it was so beautiful
just another sky pic, I thought was very pretty
I picked this little Indian up at the swap meet, I set her in the upper portion of the angel garden right now
I also picked up this bald Eagle and turtle there as well
I only paid a whole dollar for each one...
Now for the plant side
Wild poke weed is coming, it will be soon to be picked and cooked
I cooked mine in bacon grease with a little green onion...yum
Wild gooseberries are all in bloom
Just one of my purple irises in bloom
Snowfire rose with water droplets on its leaves
The blackberries are getting ready to bloom
Blueberry that I planted is in bloom....
might get some blueberries, first ones from my own plant....
I did some weeding in the garden in veggie land beds as well today before I felt a rain drop...I know I should have stayed out there and I shouldn't have gone in with just one drop of rain, but I just didn't want to be out there when the clouds turned the rain loose and got soaked walked to the house...
So I am inside enjoying watching the rain and enjoying a glass of ice tea and looking thru my seeds...knowing I would like to go out and plant some more , but wondering if I should or not...since we are suppose to have some low temps in the low 40s later on next week.....
I know I will get them planted in dew time
and on that note
I hope you all
ENJOY!
